Do you want to try dragon boating? Come to a Saturday soft paddle.

Once a month, we take a soft paddle after practice on Saturday mornings. Experienced paddlers handle the boat, so anyone recovering from treatment can join us. You can paddle (or not) as you wish. Come to try dragon boating … and enjoy the nourishment of being on the water with friends.

We hold soft paddles for guests on the fourth Saturday of each month from May to September:

• May 27, 2023, 8:15 – 9:45 am ET
  Note: The May soft paddle starts at 8:15, followed by the Club’s Awaken the Dragon opening ceremony at 10:00 am ET.
• June 24, 2023, 9:30 – 11:00 am ET
• July 22, 2023, 9:30 – 11:00 am ET
• August 26, 2023, 9:30 – 11:00 am ET
• September 23, 2023, 9:30 – 11:00 am ET

Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting wet.

We provide personal flotation devices and paddles. Club members will be at the marina to help you select a paddle and sign the waiver form (2-page PDF). We’ll also provide instructions on how to dragon boat.
