We participate in a handful of races at dragon boat festivals each season.
A standard dragon boat race is 500 meters and takes about 2 to 3 minutes. Some festivals include shorter 200-meter races and longer 2000-meter “guts and glory” races.
Everyone is welcome to attend races for the fun and festivities, but only members may paddle in races. If you’re interested in racing with us, you can quickly train and paddle in a race within one season. Learn more about how to become a member.
The Club offers something for everyone, and not all members paddle in races. Some members attend practices and paddles only.
