The dragon boats are back in Baltimore! Join us on September 9, 2023, for a day of fun.

The 12th biennial Catholic Charities Dragon Boat Races are a truly special event — combining athleticism and competition with fundraising and awareness of Catholic Charities of Baltimore.

Races kick off at 8:30 in the morning, with nearly two dozen teams competing. Some of Baltimore’s most philanthropic companies build teams to paddle together for victory and to support Catholic Charities programs. The Annapolis Dragon Boat Club is paddling with other local club teams in a demonstration race.

Following the awards ceremony, even more fun awaits. At the Inner Harbor’s West Shore Park, a lively festival will feature food and drink vendors, live music, a children’s section, and other excitement.
