We rely solely on the contributions of our donors and sponsors to run the Club. As a volunteer-run nonprofit, 100% of your contributions support our mission. Expenses include mooring fees, boat maintenance, boat purchases, outreach efforts, and communication tools like this website.
You can contribute to the Club’s financial foundation by:
- Making a one-time donation in any amount at any time;
- Sponsoring a single activity or event; or
- Becoming a sustaining sponsor.

Sponsors benefit from the Club’s visibility. Our 2017 Guinness World Record event in Annapolis drew spectators from around the region and VIPs from every level of government. Every four years, we represent Maryland in the international dragon boat festivals.

Heartfelt thanks to our sponsors
We treasure everyone who supports us! We are grateful for your support of our life-saving mission.
Route One Apparel
Part of the fun of attending the International Breast Cancer Paddling Committee’s dragon boat festivals is wearing and swapping the home colors. After each race in New Zealand in 2023, the team village became a swap meet with everyone exchanging pins and shirts — and the Annapolis Dragon Boat Club really had the goods. With a generous donation from Route One Apparel, we had everything from socks to infinity scarves to Maryland hats and other accessories, quickly becoming must-get items and driving intense trading action. With special thanks to Route One Apparel, we looked Maryland strong. And now Route One Apparel’s unique products are being worn by dragon boaters around the world.
Under Armour
Through the generosity of Under Armour, the Annapolis dragon boaters were decked out in style for our races in the International Breast Cancer Paddling Committee’s dragon boat festival in New Zealand in 2023. With generous donations of team shirts, jackets, and leggings in our team’s red and black colors, our 20+ breast cancer warriors were dragon boat fashionistas — and so were our supporters. We are always proud to represent Maryland when we travel internationally. Our uniforms featured the Maryland flag, and we donned crab hats for the Parade of Nations. Wrapping it all up in outerwear from Under Armour — whose company headquarters are in Baltimore, Maryland — was the finishing touch. We were often credited for having the sharpest-looking team uniforms by fellow dragon boaters. We are grateful to Under Armour for their generous and enthusiastic support of our team.
